These terms govern your use of the SureBuy Shopify application ("the app", "our service"). By installing and using SureBuy, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

SureBuy is a Shopify app that uses artificial intelligence to generate short reassurance messages for your product pages. These messages are designed to address common buyer hesitations such as price concerns, trust, product fit, shipping, and expected outcomes.

2. Account and Installation

• You must have an active Shopify store to use SureBuy.
• By installing the app, you authorize SureBuy to access your product data and display generated messages on your storefront.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account.

3. AI-Generated Content

• Messages are generated by AI (Anthropic Claude) and may not always be perfectly accurate or suitable for your products.
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing generated messages before they appear on your storefront.
• We do not guarantee that AI-generated messages will increase sales or conversions.
• You may edit any generated message through the app's admin dashboard.

4. Billing and Plans

• SureBuy offers different billing tiers with varying monthly AI generation limits.
• Billing is handled through Shopify's standard app billing system.
• Generation limits reset on a monthly basis.
• Unused generations do not roll over to the next month.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app to generate misleading, false, or deceptive product claims.
• Attempt to circumvent generation limits or billing restrictions.
• Reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the app's code or AI-generated content for resale.
• Use the app in violation of Shopify's Terms of Service or applicable laws.

6. Intellectual Property

• The SureBuy app, its code, and its design are our intellectual property.
• AI-generated messages displayed on your store are licensed to you for use on your Shopify store for as long as the app is installed.
• Merchant-edited messages remain your intellectual property.

7. Limitation of Liability

• SureBuy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not responsible for any loss of sales, revenue, or business opportunities.

8. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.
• Third-party service outages (Shopify, Anthropic, hosting) are outside our control.

9. Termination

• You may uninstall the app at any time through your Shopify admin.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.
• Upon uninstallation, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
